Pueblo MCP — your AI assistant can work with Pueblo — Pueblo CRM News
Pueblo adds MCP access, the recommended way to let the AI assistant you already use look things up and file notes in your CRM — with opt-in setup and explicit guardrails.
Pueblo now connects to the AI assistant you already use through MCP (Model Context Protocol) — the recommended way to let an assistant work with your CRM directly.
Ask your assistant to look something up before a meeting, file a note afterward, or pull together what needs following up — it works with the same clients, contacts, leads, engagements, journal entries, and todos you keep in Pueblo.
How to enable it
Open Pueblo Settings, turn on MCP access, then ask your assistant to connect it — it can set itself up — or add the connection to your assistant manually. Pueblo.app must be running for the connection to work, and you can turn access off at any time.
Guardrails
Assistant access stays bounded by design. Access is opt-in, runs through the running Mac app, and works with the records on your Mac and your private CloudKit database — no new account, no new server.
Prefer the terminal?
A pueblo CLI with the same access is still available for power users and lives in its own repo for the beta period: github.com/ShawnCrawford/pueblo-cli.
Beta notes
MCP access is beta-only for now. If you’re on the beta, enable it in Settings and tell us how it fits your workflow — that feedback shapes what this becomes at release.
