NOTES + EXPORT

File behavior

Where notes are stored

Dictate Bar stores your running notes file locally on your Mac at the file location you choose.

Each finalized dictation is appended to the same file rather than overwriting previous entries.

Open and export

Open Notes launches your running markdown file in your default editor.

Export Copy creates a separate copy for sharing or archival without modifying your original running file.
